The goal of the programme Environment and Sustainable Develepment is to enable students for scientific and research work in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development. It is realized through the scope of 180 ECTS credits and lasts for 3 years (6 semesters).
Students who have previously gained 300 ECTS during bachelor and master’s degree studies have the right to enrol to this programme. By defending the dissertation the title that is acquired is PhD - Environmental Protection Sciences.
The curriculum of the programme Environment and Sustainable Development enables students to acquire knowledge, skills and ability to analyze the state of the environment and to create advanced models of sustainable development through independent scientific work.
Mastering the study programme, a student acquires the following competencies:
- managing a research team, education in higher education institutions;
- managing enterprises, state and local administrations and agencies in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development;
- participation in a team for designing environmental protection systems, individual components and processes that achieve the goals of environmental protection and improvement;
- leading or participating in a scientific research and applicative eco-projects;
- work in a multidisciplinary team dealing with problems in the environment, analyzing and proposing sustainable solutions.
The study programme is being performed in Serbian and English.
